CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE FOR
TECHNICAL TRAINING

Christian Institute for Technical Training

In Haiti there is a critical lack of post-secondary, employment-focused training to equip young people with skills that will allow them to support themselves, their families and their communities.
In September 2016 The Foundation for the Children of Haiti (“FCH”) realized a long-held dream of helping correct this gap in education and training.
FCH worked with the regional government in Mussotte (in southwest Haiti, near the FCH’s elementary school) and a charitable foundation in the US to establish a post-secondary trade and technical school called the Christian Institute for Technical Training, or “C-Tech” for short.

C-Tech Building

C-Tech’s vision is to make a difference in Haiti by equipping young people with skills to provide for themselves and their families.
C-Tech offers programs in nursing, electronics, and computer science – areas where there is immediate demand in Haiti. These programs will allow grads to find employment or establish their own businesses when they graduate.
